It’s always sad to let our loved ones go, but it’s very special to honor them and celebrate that they were part of our lives.
Peta-Gaye’s Kitchen was happy and honored to help this family celebrate the life of their patriarch, Clark Johnson, with a buffet lunch of assorted sandwiches, dilled potato salad, mixed green salad, chips, assorted cookies, ice tea, lemonade and waters.
The reception was well attended, beautiful with heart-warming sharing of memories with a special touch at the end of the meal of releasing butterflies in honor of Clark.
Peta-Gaye put her tasteful twist to the sandwiches : roast beef with a horseradish cream cheese, pickled red onions and arugula; oven roasted turkey with pesto aioli, swiss cheese and red bell peppers; honey baked ham, cheddar and pickles; lemon and garlic hummus, roasted golden beets, smokey roasted summer squash, crunchy cucumbers, red bell peppers and micro greens.
The blessings, fellowship, friendships, and sharing of memories while sharing good food was indeed a great way to honor and celebrate Mr. Clark Johnson.
