Congratulations Brooke on Your Graduation from UCLA!

Another successful event!  So honored to have been chosen to cater Brooke’s Graduation Party!

It was fun coming up with a Summertime themed menu that also accommodated folks that had a dairy-free diet.

Appetizers were a hit, and were tray-passed in the garden.

The main meal was served buffet style.  As I was busy getting everything on the table, I forgot to take photos of the food on the table before it was devoured, so unfortunately missed photos of the beautiful display.  However, very glad the food was enjoyed!

The Summer Green Goddess Salad was made completely dairy free, as avocados were used in the dressing. Roasted beets with the arugula with basil drizzle were separated from the burrata cheese for some guests, while others enjoyed having the cheese ooze out over their vegetables.   The chicken breasts stuffed with strawberries, smoked gouda and green onion wrapped in Prosciutto were popular with those who could eat dairy, and the garlic spinach stuffed breast wrapped in bacon  were enjoyed by all.  The pasta salad was also made dairy free and studded with fresh and roasted seasonal vegetables and mint ribbons in a lemon dressing.  Perfect summertime fare.

Let us not forget dessert…a seasonal fruit salad, lemon tarts and the ever popular Malted Chocolate Chip cookies to finish off the meal.

So touched when the hostess told me that everyone raved about all the food and that everything was a hit.  It is so gratifying when Peta-Gaye’s Kitchen can help make a party a success!
