Peta-Gaye’s Picks : XOXO for LSXO in Huntington Beach, CA

If you live in Southern California or visit and enjoy Vietnamese food, LSXO is a must! It’s an upscale Vietnamese restaurant within the Bluegold restaurant in Pacific City complex in Huntington Beach.

For starters, there are big glass windows that give you a great view of the beach, great for watching the sunset as you start your experience with one of their delicious and unique cocktails.

There are only about six or seven tables, and there are two servers dedicated to the room.  They alternate between mixing one of their delicious cocktails and serving the tables.

This restaurant was my mother-in-law’s pick to celebrate her birthday.  Between her, my husband and I we chose several dishes to share family style, and all were delightful!  I even had to have a miniscule amount of carbs and indulge in a bite of one of the dumplings (all in the name of research for this blog post : ) ).  The Shaky Shaky Beef and  Ga Xao Xa Ot’ Spicy Lemongrass Chicken  were the all round favorites – these two dishes or the Tomahawk steak (which is cooked with similar flavors as the Shaky Shaky Beef) are the signature dishes to try and the lobster which I’ve had on a previous dining experience here.
